We want you to feel confident with every purchase. That is why we have a 100% satisfaction policy: If you are not happy with the product you ordered, we will work with you to make it right.
To ensure a hassle-free experience, please read the guidelines below.
Returns & Refunds
If the product does not meet your expectations, you may return it within 60 days of purchase.
- Condition: Items must be in their original packaging and in a resellable condition.
- Process: To initiate a return, please email help@pen.tips or write@pen.tips with your full name and order number. Please do not ship items back until you have contacted us for instructions.

Return Shipping:
- US Customers: We provide a pre-paid return label for your convenience.
- International Customers: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, in accordance with local consumer protection laws. We will provide return instructions and address.
- Refunds: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your full refund (product price + original shipping cost) to your original payment method within 2-3 business days. Alternatively, we can issue store credit if you prefer.
First-Time Customer Courtesy
As a one-time courtesy for first-time returns, we may waive the return requirement and issue a refund without requiring the product to be shipped back. This allows you to keep the item or pass it along to someone who might enjoy it.
Note: Subsequent returns will follow our standard return process outlined above. We reserve the right to review account history and handle returns on a case-by-case basis to ensure fair use of our satisfaction guarantee.
Exchanges
We believe there is a PenTips product for everyone. If you feel the product you ordered is not your perfect match, let us know!
- Email us at help@pen.tips. We will help you select a product better suited to your needs.
- We cover the shipping cost of sending the new replacement product to you.
Warranty & Defective Items
PenTips warrants its products to be free from defects. If a defect arises within the expected lifespan of the product, we will repair or replace it with a new unit at no charge. This warranty applies globally.
For warranty claims, return shipping is covered by PenTips.
Expected Product Lifespan
Different products have different life cycles based on average usage:
- PenTips Sets & PenMats: 6 months
- PenTips INK: 3 months
- PenTips Lite & Fiber: 2.5 months
- PenTips 2+: 2 months
- PenPad: 2 years (Hardware warranty)
If a defect appears within these timeframes, you do not need to prove it existed at the time of delivery. Please email us with your order number to start a warranty claim.
What is not covered:
This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, such as dropping the product on solid surfaces, exposure to extreme temperatures or moisture, or general wear and tear outside of the expected lifespan listed above.

We maintain this satisfaction guarantee in good faith for customers who are genuinely dissatisfied with their purchase. We reserve the right to limit or deny refunds in cases of suspected policy abuse or fraudulent activity.
